ygap

Ygap is a business accelerator aiming to support local entrepreneurs in Kenya, particularly those who are seeking to solve one of the country’s social issues.

Archimedes Project is proud to announce a partnership with Ygap. Ygap is a business accelerator aiming to support local entrepreneurs in Kenya, particularly those who are seeking to solve one of the country’s social issues. It is Ygap’s belief that imposing solutions on a community from the outside is not as effective as supporting the efforts of someone who is a member of that community.

If a startup is selected by Ygap, Ygap supports it in three ways. Ygap begins by subjecting the organization to a week long acceleration during which its business model is strengthened. This one week of intensive support is followed by access to “business mentorship, marketing support, legal and accounting help, and access to small grants”. Ygap organizations which are successful throughout the first two stages gain access to a larger support and funding network.

It is an honor for us to be able to work with Ygap at our Ideation Lab in March! Join us and learn more.
