WHAT: The judges select the top three teams. These teams present their pitch to the entire assembly. At this point participants, and only participants, vote on the winning plan. Each participant has one vote and cannot vote for their own team’s plan.
WHY: Participants have immersed themselves in the process and therefore are the best people for the task of selecting the winning idea; voting on the winning idea, and making commitments to its implementation, allows the participants to take ownership irrespective of whether their idea is chosen.
