WHAT: This session will serve as the final block of time teams will have to dedicate themselves wholly to honing their idea and generating a Business Model Canvas. The Canvas is the capstone of the teams' work, but they will also need to produce a paragraph summarizing their venture and a five minute pitch to present to the Ideation Lab's judges.
WHY: Saturday's dinner will have provided teams with ample material to consider as they refine their idea. This time is provided so that teams can change course, or focus their idea before finalizing and presenting.
During this session we will dive into Human Centered Design and examine how to apply HCD to, first, narrow down a problem to solve, then ask the right question to formulate a solution.
Learn about how lean startup ideologies should inform your enterprise design and allow you to quickly build, test, and iterate on an enterprise idea.
A Business Model Canvas will be the capstone for the Ideation Lab. Learn about how this one-page document has everything you need to describe a business concept.
Teams use this time to generate a scalable, human-centered, lean startup.
Time for teams to work together to pivot, refine, and finalize their business model.
Three finalist teams will pitch to all of the participants and guests.
