WHAT: Teams have their first opportunity to brainstorm and draft ideas. Mentors will be present, onsite and virtually, throughout the session to provide support to participants. Teams are encouraged to use this time in whatever ways they deem productive, but should remember that they are expected to present a one minute Draft Pitch by the end of the session.
WHY: Ideas are the essence of the Ideation Lab; with that in mind, it is imperative that participants have the most time and the best resources possible to generate ideas. The Solution Toolkits and mentors are the resources. This session is the time.
During this session we will dive into Human Centered Design and examine how to apply HCD to, first, narrow down a problem to solve, then ask the right question to formulate a solution.

Teams use this time to generate a scalable, human-centered, lean startup.
